On Friday, September 1st, the Ethnographic Museum will host the preview of the 2023 Honey Festival, which will take place on September 2nd and 3rd in the medieval village of Montebello (Poggio Torriana).

At 6:00 PM, the event “Honey Through Time” will take place. Archaeologist Raffaella Bortolin will tell the story of beekeeping throughout history, followed by tastings of locally produced honey. This event is dedicated to Carlo Carlini, the “master of bees,” on the 60th anniversary of his passing.

On this occasion, the exhibition “The Work of Carlo Carlini: ‘Master of Bees'” will also be inaugurated, curated by the Ethnographic Museum and the A.
