The Meet: A Park, A Place of Encounter Between Tradition and Experience
The museum is surrounded by a large park that serves as a bridge between the city center and the outskirts, between tradition and the contemporary, between labor and art. This park is now called Meet, a name derived from MET, but also from the English term meaning “encounter.”
The Meet completes the narrative of the cultural heritage: agricultural tools and machinery are returned to their original context, immersed in a landscape of fruit trees and plants. During certain times, such as fairs and seasonal festivals, traditions come back to life, reconnecting with their historical and cultural roots.
Additionally, the space hosts temporary exhibitions, acting as windows of time that open onto the collection’s storeroom overlooking the park. Other corners of the park are transformed into spaces for stories drawn from the MET’s heritage, reinterpreting it in the present.

In the park, visitors also come across the Deposito, which houses the collections of both MET and MUSAS. This area is further enriched by a public artwork, a mural titled “Primavera silenziosa” (Silent Spring), created by artist Nicolò Reali, known as Gola Hundun.
