The MET Depository is a large, single-level space, fully accessible to visitors. A tactile orientation map and a LOGES tactile path are available.
A wheelchair is also available at the entrance (seat dimensions: 45 cm wide x 62 cm deep).

Along the exhibition route, 10 selected objects from the ethnographic collection—chosen for their stability and condition—can be explored through touch.
In the archaeology section, a 1:1 scale replica of a key artifact is available for tactile exploration.
The experience is guided by a museum staff member and can be done standing during the visit or seated.

At the entrance, you’ll find an interactive multimedia station offering deeper insights into the work of ethnographers and archaeologists.

Benches are placed throughout the Depository for resting during your visit.
