Project Summary
The intervention, supported by a €176,000 grant, focused on the renovation of the museum depository where ethnographic and archaeological materials not on display are stored. The need to reorganize materials, identify new exhibition areas, and make hidden collections more accessible led to the creation of a complementary visitor route, designed to be entirely free of physical, cognitive, and sensory barriers.
Innovative digital solutions were implemented, including the installation of a multimedia station for consulting photographic archives.
Additionally, inclusive educational initiatives and workshops have been planned, focusing on topics such as conservation, the study of materials, and the unique features of the museum’s heritage—ranging from traditional festivals to puppetry, craftsmanship, and archaeology.
