MEET – Garden of the Ethnographic Museum (MET) – Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 6:00 PM
The Festa del Grano returns to the MEET park of the Ethnographic Museum! MET invites you to an afternoon of events celebrating the wheat cycle, a moment of joy and community that harks back to ancient traditions of honoring the abundance of the harvest.
Program:
6:00 PM – Is piadina good with everything? A talk about piadina romagnola with Daniele De Leo (agronomist), Alfio Biagini and Filiberto Baccolini. Topics include certified quality foods, EU food policies, and D.O.P. and I.G.P. products.
7:00 PM – Picnic dinner. Enjoy your own picnic or taste the piadina from “Quinta”, winner of the 2023 Palio della Piada, with musical accompaniment.
9:00 PM – Opening of the Puppet Festival, with the traveling show Senza denti by the company Le due e un quarto.
